With over 50 years of combined resort and real estate marketing experience, The Summit County Home Team brings a fresh perspective, extensive knowledge and local insight, and a true appreciation for the mountain lifestyle that can only be found here in Summit County. Our unique skill sets offer both our buyers and sellers a full-service approach to real estate transactions including specialties in marketing, public relations, operations, and our years of sales experience that allow us to proactively champion our client’s best interest in all facets.
As a resident of Summit County for over 36 years, Eddie spent the early part of his career in Public Relations for the U.S. Ski Team and Park City Ski Area, eventually moving to Colorado to join the marketing team at Copper Mountain Resort. His favorite part of the real estate business is sharing the outstanding recreational opportunities that come with owning a mountain home here, especially the amazing skiing, fly-fishing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking and trail running.
Growing up in the Midwest, Reilly DeSantis couldn’t wait for her annual family ski vacations spent in the mountains of Colorado. Hooked on the mountain lifestyle from an early age, Reilly decided to make a permanent move west over 18 years ago, joining Slifer Smith & Frampton in 2006 to leverage her passion for sharing the mountain lifestyle with clients from other locales around the world. Reilly attributes her background in marketing, prompt and attentive communication, local market knowledge, and professional approach to helping her clients achieve their real estate goals.
Originally from Boulder, Amy Carlson is a proud Colorado native and has called Summit County home for over eight years. She began her career with Slifer Smith & Frampton in 2015 as an Office Marketing Coordinator, quickly proving her dedication and moving up the ranks. After working in both marketing and operations for the brokerage, she transitioned into sales to leverage her extensive experience across all facets of operations and her well-rounded understanding of the industry. She now shares her love of Summit County with others by assisting Slifer Smith & Frampton’s top producing brokers and clients alike.
As a team, Eddie, Reilly and Amy take great pride in serving a diverse range of clients, from locals deeply rooted in the community to second homeowners seeking refuge in our serene surroundings, and even some of the world’s most fascinating individuals. Yet while their clients differ in many ways, there’s a common thread that binds them together— a love of adventure and desire to connect with nature that makes sharing this unique mountain community with them all the more rewarding.

Why do you love the communities where you live and work?
There is an undeniable charm in Summit County rooted in its authentic, adventurous spirit. Amidst the breathtaking mountain landscapes, the community is bonded together by a shared love for nature and a collective pursuit of getting the most of this life.

What’s your favorite Colorado spot?
Colorado is a playground with endless landscapes to explore with hidden gems in every corner. But ultimately, our favorite spot is our homes in Summit County, our cozy corner of paradise.
Is there a local cause that is important to you?
We are lucky to live in a place that cares so much about giving back to our community and puts an emphasis on sustainability. HC3 (High Country Conservation) is a cause that helps keep Summit County beautiful. Eddie and his wife Patti have witnessed HC3 in the community through K12 education, the CSA farm, and energy assessments, and began supporting HC3 as a way to give back. They hope to inspire friends, family and colleagues to get involved, too.
We also love supporting the arts at the Breckenridge Backstage Theater, it’s one of our favorite places to enjoy a show featuring local talent (including Reilly’s twin boys) and professionals from across the country. We are fortunate to have this incredible theater showcasing outstanding productions year-round, and the programs they offer for the youth in Summit County.
Last but not least, we support our Slifer Smith & Frampton Foundation. Our mission is to support our community through needs-based giving, with a focus on families, youth enrichment, environmental stewardship, and animal welfare. Through the support of our real estate brokers, staff and corporate team, we pride ourselves on being a company who prioritizes giving back to the place we call home.
