Why do you love the communities where you live and work?

This has been my home for my whole life, and where my kids were born and raised. It’s such a tight-knit community that’s fiercely protective of what we have. I love my community’s passion for the outdoors, the opportunities to be found here, and all the people we have come to call extended family. Also, the drive people have to succeed and the passion they have for their life and work is contagious!

What’s your favorite Colorado spot?

The mountains around Marble. I grew up four-wheeling as a kid there with my family and it’s deeply rooted in my heart. Getting up where there are fewer people and even less cell service— to me, it’s just home.

Is there a local cause that is important to you?

I support Response Aspen, a local non-profit dedicated to helping those trying to escape domestic violence. It’s important to me because I am a survivor, and so are my children. We have dealt with unthinkable circumstances and are still here to talk about it, but many people aren’t so lucky. I am passionate about helping people get out of these situations, and supporting a cause providing help and education because so much more is needed!
